Background
AgriFood Skills Australia has a central coordination role in delivering the EBPPP announced by the government in November 2009. A key component is the need for training, particularly for existing workers, which must be justified under the provisions of EBPPP. The government’s managing agency, DEEWR, accepted proposals from AgriFood on behalf of applicants up to 8 May 2010.

Proposals have been accepted from enterprises or RTOs acting in partnership with enterprises. Successful applicants must commence training during the 2010 calendar year.
