Applications are currently being accepted for Round Two of the Enterprise Based Productivity Places Program (EBPPP).
The objectives of the program are to provide opportunities for existing employees to increase their skill levels and gain further qualifications. This will assist enterprises to increase productivity and meet the demand for higher skills. Applications for training at the Certificate III to Advanced Diploma level will be accepted for a range of qualifications included on the Priority Occupations and Qualifications List.
Under round one of the program AgriFood Skills Australia will distribute more than $2.9 million dollars of funding for 633 training places across a range of industry sectors, covering more than twenty different qualifications from Certificate III to Advanced Diploma level.
Applicants should note that the second round of funding is relatively limited and applications will need to be of the highest quality to be considered. Potential applicants are strongly encouraged to contact AgriFood Skills Australia before submitting their application, so that we can work with you to prepare a strong application.

The Minister for Education, Employment and Workplace Relations, the Hon Julia Gillard, announced funding for Round One of the Enterprise Based Productivity Places Program (EBPPP).
Under Round One of the program, the Australian Government committed $40 million dollars to co-fund almost 11,000 training places for existing workers across all industry sectors. The program covers existing workers in small, medium and large businesses to boost skills in high demand.
AgriFood Skills Australia will distribute more than $2.9 million dollars of funding for 633 training places across a range of industry sectors under the program, covering more than twenty different qualifications from Certificate III to Advanced Diploma level. The second round of funding worth $10 million will be allocated before July 2010 to deliver an estimated 2,700 additional training places. AgriFood is currently accepting applications.
