AgriFood Skills Australia has reprinted the full suite of materials, which are designed to build skills development capacity and promote engagement strategies within indigenous communities. AgriFood prepared the materials as part of a broader industry steering committee team but most importantly through pilot programs run with indigenous communities, key industry agencies and community groups.
The materials are available at no cost and these can be provided to you on request. This includes a printed booklet and poster, plus a CD that contains all the training materials and background to the project. In effect, we have prepared the essential skills framework for this project to be replicated across many regions of Australia.

The Work-Like Integrated Learning: A Guide for Trainers and Assessors was developed to provide alternative ways to implement qualifications for training organisations, schools, curriculum centres, trainers and assessors.
The Guide was developed by Arthur Blewitt (Agri-Food Industry Skills Council), Bob Paton (Manufacturing Skills) and Geoff Gwilym (Transport and Logistics), plus Tess Julian, Gail Fiteny and Trish Gamper from Ratio Pty Ltd.
It will take you through the steps needed to understand work-like integrated learning, design an industry relevant integrating activity, set up the learning environment and how to structure the learning. The Guide will assist also in explicitly addressing employability skills and supporting participants and assessing whether outcomes have been achieved.
It has been used successfully with the following target groups:
